I guess when it comes to investing in stocks or any other tangible movements, we should put some of our money as soldiers so the other lifeform can have a similar mindset as you are to invest in similar products.
Investing can also come into as emotionally or physically if you want the cash flow to come.
This would keep everyone mostly happy to prevent a big crisis but to slow it down in order to protect what you have built over the years.
