  • Illusion of power

I guess it comes to what someone says to you as in giving you the position to do something like CEO or some higher position. They are at a higher position for a reason, to look after the people that are in different positions.

When you have the title you would feel the sense of power and confidence in yourself. Of course there are some people not wanting power because it is too much.

But mostly, this would be based on skillset and having the knowledge to pursue or learn as you go in the position to make it better.

Those who want to be in the contribution in society and the community can be an electrician or warehouse worker. I am not saying they do not have power but they are the backbone of society because they contribute to the people and outsiders.

We all should think about what we should do in society like a contribution because it is essential for our mental health. Humans are made to be social creatures, it does not matter what you do but as long as you touch, feel a sense of contribution or talk to other people then our anxiety levels will be stable.

If we are not actively contributing, we would feel a sense of anxiety.

It is like the king is watching your every move but they are actually not giving an illusion of psychosis
  • Anti depressants and mental health

Somehow they do feel like happy pills like MDMA but it does the opposite.

I have tried anti depressants which they cause one to not think too much. Even when you are on a business venture it gets hard to think clearly about the next steps because maybe the medication is blocking how you can think towards the next step.

In the book brave new world, anti depressants like Soma which is similar to happy pills where you do not have to do anything and positive things will happen your way. Soma also makes you more like a follower instead of a leader within yourself so making you dependent on a specific someone. I guess we all depend on someone one way or another but Soma limits your potential to go further in life even with a dependable which makes you fall behind on life eventually when the damage has been done in this fast paced society.

  • Buying experiences

I mean experiences through travelling or buying food at a restaurant. We should all strive to spend some money on experiences because it would stimulate the economy as well as it supports the people involved in giving you the experience.

In buying experience usually it would make mental health meaningful towards personal goals and also to take something for you to talk and share to other people when something comes up when you are socialising. Each experience would be different because of the people involved as different personalities and different human emotions equipped with their experiences make buying that experience unique.

If you guys do buy experience, make sure you do not break the bank as we need money in the society to survive and thrive.

    Experiences leave a lasting impact
  • Virtual and reality

Somehow they both do gain skills in a way. But in reality we need to eat food physically so we can live and survive.

In the virtual, it could include books or computers. Virtual gives us knowledge and skills so we can survive in the real world. The real world means money so we can exchange hands to get a product to feed ourselves and those around us.

  • Alcohol and mental health

I guess as men we need something to release. It could be a dopamine hit or we just need a reward circuit for our hardwork. Although if we have too much of the reward circuit such as dopamine we tend to lose ourselves like slothing around.

We men should keep on moving and striving in order to maintain our appearance and mental health combined. I would say females have it easier but I guess they have their own problems. I am not a female so I am not the best person for that subject.

When we have alcohol while on nofap, it makes us a bit vulnerable which can help us write or maybe we have been conditioned to be always alert when we do not drink alcohol so we cannot afford to be vulnerable in this society. All we can do is make a better future for the upcoming generations with social credits around us in society.

Alcohol gets us in a more emotional state so we enjoy reading into people’s stories in a book or learning (vulnerability)
  • Gaining knowledge

Do you remember your favorite book from childhood?

I do remember when I was little, I did skim through a lot of child’s books in class then we got a gold star.

I did have a way to kind of cheat the system, or maybe I wanted more told stars as it was satisfying.

  • Finding connections in books

List three books that have had an impact on you. Why?

When I was done in the dumps, when my mind was not in the right place years ago through overworking.

I took some books in the mental hospital to pass some time. One of the books I read was Think Rich Grow Rich.

The book talks about how we should think emotionally or do an action into how we should live a healthier life through our lifestyle. It also taught me I need to solve a problem in return which would be satisfying to the soul as well.

One problem to be solved after many admissions is our mental health system in Australia and maybe across the world needs more work because mental health is at its infantry. Well unconsciously… I am sure it happened a while ago but we are just talking about it now.

I also read Life’s greatest question by Tom Rath and Rich Dad Poor Dad which also helped me financially and emotionally.

I do think any books you read have an impact on your mental health whether positively or negatively depending on what you absorb.
