  • Moving slow…

What’s one small improvement you can make in your life?

Previously, I have said everyday we should strive to do something that we improve our or the well being of others everyday. We can start by the little things by buying a product that is inexpensive or giving valuable knowledge to one person.

Personally I like to improve emotionally and financially but by bit everyday, not by trying to go from A to Z but by going A, B, C.

It stabilises our mental health by going slow. If we are going fast then eventually we will get burnt out and all these emotions come up like anxiety or depression.

So what I like to do is reading daily podcasts or walking around absorbing what is in my environment during the day.

Balance is key whether it is financially or emotionally.

Remember nothing will come about without work!

    Be ready! Always improve!
  • Start with the little things

    Compound effect of taking action

Only when you are doing something like a project or being out and about will satisfy you. It does to me because when I treat myself after something I have done, it feels rewarding just like feeling like a child.

If you are doing nothing then having a snack does not feel rewarding because what I find is when I am hungry or stave a bit, every little consumption feels rewarding. You will also feel depressed or a bit down when you have no tasks during the day but… That builds up everyday when you are not doing anything for your goals.

If you have nothing to start with, something as little as getting a gym membership and building your body up then probably think what you should do when the goal is fulfilled. I mean also in business sense, the more visitors or income it gets, the local community thrives with your gym payments. This is something to think about as well. It is like you are contributing to society 2x from what you have started.

  • Being independent

What does freedom mean to you?

What I want to do is be free to do what I want to pursue. It is to make everyone and everybody free to talk about their mental health, whether it is anxiety or depression.

I think both men and women have a hard time talking about their labels because of their reputation. But there shouldn’t be any judgement on our part when we listen or lend a hand to those with mental health issues. Even the person listening could be suffering and just looking for some reassurance.

I sometimes do struggle with mental health because it is not the way it is planned, when I have made a goal but the goal can be left to my future me.

I define freedom as being of a service to other people or helping out another fellow person while I receive emotional or physical presence.

We should all strive to be of a service whether you are independent or not.

Priority to be of a service
  • Acts of service

For our well-being, we should focus on how to be of a service to people whether it is being an employee or being self employed. Everybody wants something out of it, one way or another but if we dig deep we can open our minds to another layer of being a service.

I think it is making the persons involved to make them feel good in that moment in whatever you are doing.

For me, I like to help out and I get something in return whether it is money, service or products in return. As long as the return I am getting keeps me going, that is all it matters…

    Money is like energy
  • Money for something

Theres a lot of opinions about this. In Australia a lot of people prefer to do nothing on the day than to work for less than minimum wage

My thinking is… If you have nothing to do on the day, why not just do something, at least it covers more than enough for transport to get to the destination. But I guess if you are building something maybe it is best to take it easy.

But anyways, it is better than nothing while you look for something better. I use the platform called Airtasker, just some odd jobs here and there but I guess it is better than nothing.

We humans are hardwired to seek out to do something  but if you just sit at home all day, you are just going to get depressed. I have done this before.

    This is my thoughts.

  • Mental health illness labels is how we interpret things

I have been of this lately…

What if our mental illness or label that we get is the way we think that are outside the society norms of what we think is normal.

Maybe… In games or mediaeval times there have been wizards, and all types of fantasy characters. What if… Those types of characters have been turned into mental illness labels.

I guess it’s like a spiritual thing or what we are sent to earth to.

To give like personalities to life on earth. I think it’s our right to be like this because it gives us purpose in life instead of suppressing it.

  • Doing something you love

When you take the time to do something it will be good how you want it to be because you put a lot of passion into it.

Well for me I like doing business, and here in my blogs I am letting out my inner thoughts and maybe give you guys some perspectives.

As for business I like to do everything at once in the cheapest financial form. Not that I have employees, I am independent.

I tend to have a feel for the environment when I do something I love, not sure if it fosters my creativity, but I like it!

When I work at a normal job, sometimes I just feel like I don’t want to do it anymore because independence is creativity.

I feel like working at a job affects my mental health whereby if I am independent my mental health is more stabilised.

Maybe it’s just my creativity showing…

  • Money is like lifepoints

Have you ever wanted money? Yes! Money is important. It helps us buy food, water and a place to stay.

I have been thinking, when you work for money, it becomes your lifepoint. Just like a game you need food for lifepoints but for real life you need money to buy things in order to live in our modern society.

It’s like when you have a lot of money, it means you have leveled in life. But that is subjective. Having money or making money is about giving value to another person whether it is for nostalgic purposes or if they need to get the job/product done! They will fix you up with more lifepoints. But it is a bit more complicated than what I’m saying now.

  • Overwork affects our mental health

When your mind starts wanting this, wanting that it gets a bit too much.

I have overworked/over think to myself that is probably why I am the way I am.

I think it is people trying to make you see the reality of things in how they think but I think it is how to perceive things is how it will go. It’s only when there is a barrier like when people try to stop you, affects your mental health rather than encouraging your path.

But who knows? This could end up as a disaster or it could lead to greatness.

It’s ok, it’s best you continue your path as long as it does not get you in trouble with society or family members. If it does look after someone be it emotionally or financially, I think it will have a great impact.

It all depends on what you define overwork. It probably means what you are destined to do in your soul. The marketplace will eventually solve itself.

Everything has a price to pay but maybe do so when it benefits something?

  • Contribution to society

Contributing is a part of being human, whether you are blue collared, self employed or in the office. Think of it as working as a team. Everything you do, means you are contributing to someone, well.. at least.

I collect bottles on the streets as a side because it makes the world a better place, recycling plastic, aluminium cans or glass bottles. Plus you get some form of payment which is nice when you recycle.

Whether you are consuming or creating, it is a form of contributing to society. As for mental health, it is best to tweak your understanding of how I contribute to society just by doing the little things if there is a form of incentive at the end of it. I guess if you don’t need money, you could do it for no incentives but maybe it helps you sleep at night knowing you did something to keep the streets clean.

There are all sorts of avenues to contribute! Even when you talk to people, passing knowledge down to your fellow friends or strangers.

That said I will talk more about this topic in the later stage.

An incentive over here in Sydney
