  • Matters what foundation you build

What do you think gets better with age?

It is true that as you get older you get wiser but it is more about what principles you live by.

So my principle is that I am a man of my word so it limits the anxiety or other mental health issues that come with it. But there are other factors as well like the environment you are in or the people you surround yourself in.

If you get wiser it is because you are constantly learning and by learning you eventually develop your own ways of doing things which does help the betterment of our society and community. So I think it is best to start as early as possible to develop yourself.

  • Random hours

What time do you go to bed and wake up currently?

When I have something to do or nothing to do I just sleep at random hours of the day. But I guess when it hits midnight or at night in general then I try to go back to sleep. Before I sleep I like to listen to podcasts or audiobooks to improve my thinking skills. This will further help me in achieving my goals in mental health. Of course to make money of course, but I would prefer to not get handouts because to me, nothing is free in this world. We all have to contribute to society with a service or product in order to make the world a better place and to advance into the community.

So sometimes I would listen to the same podcast more than once every few days to get it through my head because we do not retain all information in videos we see.

  • Experimenting with uncomfortable

What strategies do you use to increase comfort in your daily life?

In my opinion when you expose yourself to enough uncomfortable situations you will eventually become comfortable with a lot of things. Maybe it is because you already know what to expect.

But what I feel is if exposed to a number of numerous uncomfortable situations like a cold shower or going into the deep end of something, you are powned to eventually open to learning new things.

Just enough situations like this can also lead to growth as an individual.

  • Everyone to be grateful

What are you most excited about for the future?

When we are sad or happy, our mental health is affected. But I guess it is part of being human.

All we need is we should be grateful in what we have achieved in our lives. It does not have to be a big accomplishment but as long as you can keep doing what you are doing, that is all it matters. Sometimes it is not about the money but the well being of others as well. But we do need money to support others projects or adventures assuming it is positive for their mental well being.

But whatever we achieve in the present we should be investing the future as well to make the society or community a better place.

  • Letting go of greed

What could you let go of, for the sake of harmony?

Sometimes it is not about the money. I guess we need money so we can live and buy luxuries for ourselves. I do feel more satisfied if the other party is happy and can still look after themselves.

If we do things for ourselves without giving them we would feel dead as in we probably think the whole world is against us. But in our current climate or society, I guess in general we should be about giving financially or emotionally so we feel on top of the world. This is similar to having a passion or purpose towards something

  • Real life experiences

    What makes a teacher great?

I am not saying you need just real life experiences but reading books helps as well.

Reading books like think rich and grow rich gives you a perspective where you can use it in the real world.

Mostly learning comes from experimenting, we all make mistakes, that is if we learn from them.

Also listening to podcasts helps which I listen to the likes of Tai Lopez as he offers his perspectives and experiences as he has some credibility in his words.

So basically, I am always learning, listening to older people and younger people because who knows… They have different experiences or different worlds that they share with us through podcasts or books or even real life through words. I find when someone offers their opinions or teaches you in person it is easier to absorb their experiences or perspectives.

  • Mindfulness

Are there things you try to practice daily to live a more sustainable lifestyle?

Everyday I practice mindfulness. So my definition of it is, how I can make the world a better place, mostly to support the fellow men in our society. This can come in a range of goods or monetary value. As long as they are still going on by the day, it makes me happy.

I guess in our community we have had dirty public streets, somehow the atmosphere feels more clean. Maybe it is winter or maybe I should wait until summer time to see it. Whenever our streets are dirty our mental health is affected because the way I see it, anything that is wrapping paper with a word or name, emotional value is placed on it.

So when there is a lot of rubbish on the streets our emotional value can be affected as what you may have in purpose may not be consistent with what you believe.

Being sustainable is being selective with what your purpose is in life is how I see it.

  • Using money as soldiers

I have thought about this one. Everything in our society whether it is tangible items is made by someone that is working. This can be machines, animals or humans. We constantly need maintenance in order to live a healthier life. If one is unusable for sure… Then the trash it goes but when it comes to money, nowadays we have the internet which then we can leverage in how we should use our money, working with the machines and people.

If we leverage machines as people to do the right thing then everyone will be happy mentally and spiritually. We just have to adjust a bit in order to make them work with us. There should be a time where everyone and everything works together to a common goal but maybe that is a dream.

So basically… One man’s trash is another man’s treasure as they say.

  • We are what we wear

If you were forced to wear one outfit over and over again, what would it be?

We should wear clothes that align to the occasion we are going to. Or else… We should align what we wear to what we feel like. If we wear clothing that is what should be respected, we would feel good at the moment but what about when the event finishes.

We should wear something that we will always feel comfortable with because our mental health will not be affected by the inconsistency with the environment.

We shouldn’t be told what to wear but probably guided into what we wear when we are infants. When we are adults we should be at least guided when we have nothing and when we have something then we can wear what we feel like.

Do not mistake this! What we wear has a role in our society, all we do is just keep it moving.

  • Taking the lonely path

How important is spirituality in your life?

There are all types of spirituality out there, from religion or just instinct. I guess it is how you believe in one.

I do believe in spirituality as a way to overcome my objectives because whatever you do, your actions compound into other sources of lifeforms such as pets or humans.

I do not believe when people say meditation is the way to get better because I feel it is the environment around us that affects our mental health.

Do your role and what you were meant to do in the world is key to spirituality.
