  • Different environment, different emotions

When I go to different places, it is a vibe I get. Sometimes it is more relaxing and sometimes it is not. Maybe when we are in congested areas we feel it is more stressful, while the opposite is more relaxed and chill.

If we hang around a more stressful area, we tend to get more stressed or we somehow get this migraine in our head. While we see greens when we go to the environment our mind stays peaceful.

I think our human mind finds nature like trees or grass peaceful and relaxing for us. If we are in the city where there is a lack of trees our minds tend to race.

Even with how the environment is portrayed our emotions react to the environment around us.

I think we humans are naturally adaptive whether it goes positively or negatively.

The world that we live in that is natural is always best
  • Personality traits in mental health

I think in mental health, or if you are out into the mental health system the people that act the way they are that are not in societal standards we get labelled as having something wrong.

What if it is part of our personality? And how we are shaped by our environment. Sure the community needs to be safe but putting on people on medications does not help as a lot of people complain about them.

I think when we ask for help then being put on these medications, it just makes us worse as an individual creating a non-safer community in our society and not innovating ourselves. We should learn to think for ourselves before taking these artificial stimuli.

If professionals have taken these drugs we would listen to them but they are just learning from the books mostly without having actual experiences about them.

We all have personalities that define ourselves and it cannot be solved with chemicals.

But who knows? These drugs could be karma related drugs.

    We are Complex Beings
  • Adapting

What sacrifices have you made in life?

While I had an almost comfortable living, I tried to make myself uncomfortable by taking cold showers and learning as much as I can in my early 20s because your 20s are still young. Cold showers have health benefits. The main thing about cold showers is learning to be comfortable by being uncomfortable is what trains you as well.

There are about 40 more years to live freely at this stage, could increase as innovation makes place depending on how fast it takes place.

So that is why I am buying and collecting anything copper as it is a technology innovation tool. The better mental health we have the more technical advances we make. Right now in this day and age, we are relying on technology year by year.

I think what is best for mental health is using technology as a way to further your well being and also for convenience.

I think what sacrifices you make most of the time is how you learn and adapt to the situation because everyone is different.

Looking for ways to be outside of the box

  • Supporting simple businesses

What’s the oldest things you’re wearing today?

For some reason I like to wear generic clothes that look like I have no personality, just random full colours of clothing.

I like to think, I am supporting small family run clothing businesses or I do shop at the flea markets for second hand clothes. It makes me feel good that I am supporting another person just trying to sell their used clothes.

I don’t shop a lot but I shop for things I actually need. Who knows… Maybe I will buy clothes from the flea markets and just donate my clothes to the clothing charity box.

I will wear them a couple of times then just probably just put it aside and donate it.

Clothing is a human need of our society as it keeps us warm and at least some fashion taste on the outside.

If the clothes ain’t broken, then it could be used again or resold.

    Generic clothing is my favourite
  • Start with the little things

    Compound effect of taking action

Only when you are doing something like a project or being out and about will satisfy you. It does to me because when I treat myself after something I have done, it feels rewarding just like feeling like a child.

If you are doing nothing then having a snack does not feel rewarding because what I find is when I am hungry or stave a bit, every little consumption feels rewarding. You will also feel depressed or a bit down when you have no tasks during the day but… That builds up everyday when you are not doing anything for your goals.

If you have nothing to start with, something as little as getting a gym membership and building your body up then probably think what you should do when the goal is fulfilled. I mean also in business sense, the more visitors or income it gets, the local community thrives with your gym payments. This is something to think about as well. It is like you are contributing to society 2x from what you have started.

  • Being independent

What does freedom mean to you?

What I want to do is be free to do what I want to pursue. It is to make everyone and everybody free to talk about their mental health, whether it is anxiety or depression.

I think both men and women have a hard time talking about their labels because of their reputation. But there shouldn’t be any judgement on our part when we listen or lend a hand to those with mental health issues. Even the person listening could be suffering and just looking for some reassurance.

I sometimes do struggle with mental health because it is not the way it is planned, when I have made a goal but the goal can be left to my future me.

I define freedom as being of a service to other people or helping out another fellow person while I receive emotional or physical presence.

We should all strive to be of a service whether you are independent or not.

Priority to be of a service
  • Keep it simple

I found that living in a fast paced environment can really affect our mental health.

I think it is because we are afraid of being left behind the things we want to do. (I have done this) Yes! I think life is not easy because you will have to put in the work after getting out of school to observe the real world so you would get the hang of doing things that would benefit society.

I on the other hand, I am trying to bring mental health awareness out, for education or knowledge purposes. I am still learning.

I think for mental health some people do things that are not acceptable by society unconsciously or maybe hopefully not consciously.

But in saying this, to have a better mental health is to find something you are passionate about. For me I like servicing people just like “how can I be of a service”. Most people I talk to about their mental health seem to be geared into the service area. So maybe my conclusion would be “People are happier when they are serving people”.
