  • Talking with purpose…

Somehow when you talk about something directly, just directly with different people, you tend to have less stress. It is hard to describe but this is what I have been practicing.

It is more about being true to yourself instead of talking about nonsense. If I do talk about a lot of jibber jabber, my mind tends to get a bit messed up like messy in the mind which is not good for mental clarity.

So I have been practicing talking with purpose as in what matters in the community or society instead of small talk. I tend to find small talk a bit boring and find what problems we can solve in the community more interesting as it keeps me thinking which also makes me mentally sharper as I think how to make the community a better place.

  • Do what you love

When I feel like I have a hang of things, I tend to get bored of it. But when I find meaning in them, I tend to be a bit motivated.

My blogs are about spreading mental health and social awareness out there online even offline in due time to send them here. We people are meant to have a community where we can chit chat or talk about our problems.

What I love about this is, I am free to talk about anything that is self improvement related or just talking about my thoughts.

If we do something we love them our body and mind will not be impacted thus, us not growing up so fast into the old age. We must keep our bodies moving so we still have our bodies fresh to look and feel youthful. I said in my previous blogs that we should always be doing something or else we fall into a deep depression or anxiety. Even if we get help from the public about those, it can only do so much because it starts with yourself.

So what I think is that we should be giving and supporting our favourite communities in order to have a peace of mind. This giving should be mostly about what I can also get out of it as well in the near future as getting something in return.

Presently everybody needs to pay their bills so presently we should be giving in our earlier years so we can have a better future not for ourselves, but everyone around the seller or community around us.

  • Touching nature…

I feel like when I am touching something that is natural it makes me feel good for some reason.

Natural includes: Water, plants, and dirt.

When I do a job or service that includes those above, my mental state reveres back to normal or a feeling that I accomplished something. It probably goes back to our early ages of always being around with nature, instead of being surrounded by carpet or plain walls. It is something that makes my mental state feel good at the moment.

I think if we touch something that is tangible but is living, we tend to feel good. This goes with dogs and cats, our minds always need that natural stimulation. If I am in a more suburban area like in the city, the vibe is totally different.

What I think for our mental health is to play with grass a bit more. It does sound rude but… If we play with grass or greens a bit more then our mental state will be geared towards a positive state.

  • Socialising…

Describe one simple thing you do that brings joy to your life.

What I have found after being discharged from the mental hospital, I found more clarity in life. In the public system, it can get chaotic at times. After the first admission I started feeling worse than before I came in for some reason. Maybe it could be the environment I was locked in the first time.

But nonetheless, interacting with people whether it is presence or talking, I like to feel the personality of each one because it usually makes me think afterwards about myself as well. Sometimes people say things about you directly you never knew you had and it makes you wonder what it meant.

When I was a child I used to play with random people or with my family members.

But now… I find joy in collecting things just for the aesthetics, but it is a plus when it goes up in value. It is just a personal collection I like to play or buy with so my room has that positive feeling when I have that item. It sure does feel like I am hoarding but… I am not so sure.

But when it comes to interacting with people, I mostly have a giving mentality which is emotional for some reason.

  • Invest in something you are passionate about…

Time is finite in this society. We should be using our time to service people or to make our society a better place.

This includes cleaning up our community or giving our knowledge for our time. However I like to give out knowledge for free because what we say has no price tag on it because I believe knowledge is free. But whenever I give someone or I give someone my time, then compensation is required. I tend to use the money given towards me to create a better society whether I am buying personal goods or supporting another project for my own sake to make even more money.

Right now since 1970, money is inflated ever since because money is taken off the gold standard thereby money is printed, so basically it is infinite.

I mostly use money to fund projects that the world is going to or fund my hobbies for nostalgic purposes. But I believe we should recycle whatever we can with the resources available in the community to create a better mental health environment.

  • Having different projects…

How do you know when it’s time to unplug? What do you do to make it happen?

I am not sure when it is time to unwind when I am feeling well. When I am feeling unwell, I take it easy… We all should.

But when I am passionate about something like making money or being a service of people, it just gives me more energy to do something.

When you have nothing to be a service of… You just get bored because you have nothing to do. That is why there always has to be a boss somewhere so they can tell you what to do or want you to require something.

To make my unplug happen, it is just unpredictable because I tend to push myself. My fear is being left behind most of the time.

  • How to be seen

I think it is mostly put yourself out there. Whether you are on social media or offline.

The internet has given us more freedom to make ourselves more seen, but there is a con. The con is physical interaction. We all need physical interaction one way or another.

The best way is to try to make yourself look good like hygiene or lifting weights at the gym. Also, if you are on your purpose it will make sure that you have something to strive for.

If you feel good about yourself, the way you dress or do a makeover, you tend to feel like a different person, just like you feel alive…

To be seen is mostly to do with discipline even though somedays you may not feel like.

Quote from Hamza the YouTuber. “Do the work especially when you don’t feel like it”.

  • Lifting each other up…

What quality do you value most in a friend?

What I admire most about people is the ability to put everyone up. What I mean is lifting people up whether emotionally or financially, but you would still have to do the work as well.

When you are young, the older folks will give you a piece of advice but when you guys are the same age giving each other information is helpful as well.

My own friends share about financial updates which keeps us updated about the markets without us doing as much research into the markets. But me? I help them emotionally in how to manage their emotions, somehow. I do this unconsciously for some reason.

But whether we are friends or strangers, we should all strive to give a hand to another.

  • Finding comfort in music

Everywhere I go even in my car, I listen to party hardcore music because it is what keeps me going during the day and on my purpose.

When you listen to a specific music somehow your body reacts to it emotionally and physically. When I say physically, you could make some adjustments to your appearance through the music you listen to everyday. Also, the items you buy could also be influenced by the music you listen to.

I will give an example of a music I listen to:

When I listen to the music, I feel more upbeat about life which could manifest into real life in your surroundings like everyone treating you with the respect you want.

It is also good for mental health as well as if you listen to slow tempo types, it could make you relaxed or either make you depressed depending on your mood.

So whenever I listen to music, music just changes my mood even though I sometimes feel lazy before a job or work.

  • Finding purpose in what I do

    What jobs have you had?

I have been working since I was in my 20s, from a full time job to odd jobs now. I find meaning in when I am getting compensated for my time while working towards a common goal. It does not need to be luxurious but something that has an impact on society.

If my work helps another individual to their goal, then I am satisfied but then I have to think about the cost of travel and some other utilities. Everyone has to look after themselves after all.

But then sometimes it may not be enough because we are wanting something more than just the specific work. If you tell the boss or employer you want to leave then, don’t feel guilty because you have already fulfilled your role in the position you were in. I try not to feel guilty but it is what it is.

No amount of money is enough to satisfy in whatever work you do, so you would have to make your own work, starting with a project then you will end up creating more jobs in the future thus making the community more abundant in work.
