  • The Chinese Australian way

What traditions have you not kept that your parents had?

I guess when I grew up in Australia, I followed my parents way of life but they did own a business either way I was always looked after as a little kid.

But as I grew older I wanted to make something of myself but without forgetting where I came from. Of course we should always help people, which it does not matter what race you are as my local area is multi cultural.

But as time went on I saw a divide between working people and non working people so I guess I could make something out of that.

  • Never forget where you came from

Here in Australia we do have a variety of cultures and personalities which shape our life.

I guess if you were Asian, you will mostly hangout with other Asians but other races can be included. But I guess in the early stages when we would be kids, we needed a safe place where the same race would provide comfort.

It does not matter if you are Caucasian or whatever but our race gives us ground to make us learn about our own culture and also whatever culture or principles, and that is in Australia. I am sure principles are universal to other countries as well but lately or the past few years I feel like the western society is falling apart.

We as a society should work together, it does not matter what culture or race but we should be open to learning about each other’s culture.

  • Living life to the fullest

    Was today typical?

I think life is always learning and evolving. I guess as you get older you tend to stick with your principles if you have nothing else to learn and just coast through life.

But for mental health sake, I think it is giving everyone something to look forward to, in order to increase spending and productivity within our society. Of course you need to be sensible with your finances but looking forward to something always gives you an edge to enjoy life with no worries.

That is why it is called living in the present because living is a gift. But there comes a time when something is not right then… Your present will be like living hell. As I have said there will always be winners and losers in our society in terms of finance but it is how we make of it.

  • Giving a unique taste

Whether the food you eat or the things you sell, keeping things fresh is a must in order to keep going in life.

I feel like if you are constantly eating the same tastes with the same ingredients without the twist then you would be dead inside and not be as joyful.

So experimenting with different types of ingredients, it may or may not taste good but being exposed to a variety of ingredients, a feeling of one ingredient with another could make a great taste.

My experiment is to get rid of the mental health stigma which undoubtedly everyone would have but some may be undiagnosed.

When someone tastes great food, it could trigger the individual into spending a bit more on food and sharing the food they eat to others while advertising the restaurant or product to others. This could stimulate the economy as well which benefits everyone in the community around the restaurant.

  • Fair and not fair

How would you describe yourself to someone?

So I try to follow my principles everywhere I go even on social media. When someone is down then I will try and get them back up and they can live their lives.

I believe it is mostly about putting each other up instead of putting them down because it is more productive that way.

But one word that would describe me is that I try to be an honest person because no one in this world or society is perfect.

If one is not honest then mental health will be affected thus damaging the mental health system.

In this world or society there will always be winners or losers but I guess it is how we make it together because everyone has a principal they stand by.

  • Psychological warfare

I am not saying to hurt anyone, but I believe in our society there are always winners and losers. It is about the path you take in life. I mean in our society there will always be dangerous situations and uncomfortable situations, and it is how we handle them.

Not everyone’s personality is built to push themselves to the limit but if they have served the community then they will be rewarded with freedom. But sometimes freedom comes with a cost as well, maybe freedom is doing something you love and have a passion for.

But part of psychological warfare is having fun in your pursuits and not worrying about anyone’s business based on your principles or moral compass.

  • Taking advantage of people

I mean I do not take advantage of people when it comes to social media or business and whatnot. But there should be a fine line of people that are faking it to get money out of people but I do not think it is how it works.

In a way money is like energy, if someone likes what you are putting out then they should give out their money out of support.

If someone is faking it until they make it, in a way it works but that will make mental health even worse because we do not know, what is real and what is not, putting strain and pressure on our hospital workers and other people in society as well.

Of course not everyone is perfect and will make mistakes one or two times but if it happens consistently then… There is an issue.

  • Asking for sympathy

I guess when you are an adult like maybe around 30, asking for sympathy or begging for sympathy is good and bad in a way depending on the life you have picked. If you have done wrong that is bad for society that is behind closed doors then society or the community will make you pay for it.

I guess it is about finding what is right and what is wrong. We as a community know what is right most of the time but as some people are under 30, it is their prime time to experiment as their brains have not been fully developed, of course there is a right and wrong when you experiment but choosing and listening to the right path when you are younger can save you heaps of headaches.

  • Stop keeping my mental health inside

What strategies do you use to maintain your health and well-being?

Obviously, we make mistakes when we are younger but that makes us stronger in a way. We always have to be uncomfortable with comfortable as men in order to make a reputation in our society or community. For our mental health we should strive to let all our frustrations and desires out in order to satisfy our mental health.

I mean we should try instead of not trying in general because there is always a backup plan in place. Does not have to be glamorous but at least you have stories to tell to pass on to the next younger person. In a way, I guess it is how we keep the community or world turning just like money is always turning.

  • We can minimise the unhealthiness

What I am trying to say is we need to set an example for the younger generations and the following to come that some things are not to be tolerated in our society. Me! On the other hand, I like to work and keep on going as it keeps my mind and body active without actually doing some real exercise.

Of course you should exercise, but I prefer not to have a lot of downtime as it keeps me too still. I like to have something to look forward to whether it is picking up bottles off the ground or someone messaging me about something on Facebook marketplace I am doing, the list goes on.

But as we do something eventually something else fades out leaving the next generation with a purpose. As humans we always need something to fight for in order to keep the world moving as there are at least 7-8 billion people on earth according to statistics.
