  • Everyone to be mentally stable and healthy

What is the legacy you want to leave behind?

I want to write this because, I have been thinking about this for a while.

For everyone to be healthy emotionally and physically, we must work together in charity organisations by donating to them. Yes! Some good be scammed. So I currently donate to WaterAid monthly, which I get a newsletter every month  in my email. By donating to their mission I feel good about myself when they are trying to make water safe to use in other parts of the country. We humans have an innate need to help one another, it is how we fulfil our purpose mostly.

So what I want to leave a mark is “Watapple” stands for helping people for fun in general, but there could be other perspectives about.

The more people that are healthy the more innovation we get!

    Helping Hand
  • Finding opportunities…

In society we think we cannot find work or something to do but one valuable skill is to be an all rounder.

This includes being a cleaner, kitchen hand or working in the office. There are endless opportunities if you are willing to learn. Personality cannot be trained but skills can be trained.

If you have a lot of experiences into industries, you will find endless opportunities if you put yourself out there. Maybe after you leave school it is harder, but once you get the skills up and running, it will be easier to find opportunities out into the community.

I find it is best not to leave your eggs in one basket. We humans are always made to improve and are looking for something to do. If we do nothing during the day our minds think of nonsense which in turn affects our mental health.

My project is trying to bring people struggling with mental health over into working service based jobs as there is a big stigma attached to them while also helping with their investments based on their risk. It doesn’t matter if the money is not a lot per hour but you will be getting valuable skills into the future.

That is why when you are young it is best to invest in yourself, while making mistakes in the process when important personal responsibilities are limited.

Careful how you plan out your responsibilities

  • Being cold is discipline

How do you feel about cold weather?

I prefer cold weather because you can make yourself warm with clothes. However, I sometimes take cold showers in the cold due to trying to get more resilient in being comfortable with being uncomfortable. But I realised it makes me get a cold easily.

If in contrast to the hot weather, we all get hot and sweaty not all of us have air conditioning as maybe our community doesn’t have enough electricity to go around.

Otherwise I prefer cold weather as it is training us to be comfortable to be uncomfortable as it kind of relates to mental health.

If we go through a lot, we become hard and in contrast we become soft, like a soy boy or something.

  • Accidents? Or Saving us?

Have you ever broken a bone?

I have fractured my one wrist before from riding a scooter downhill.

It was not a good experience after that because I was unable to do something I wanted in the next few months.

What if maybe… When we fracture or break our bones is the universe of saying, we are going too far with our stunts before it gets worse.

Or… It could be our bones are fragile.

Anyways… It could be our unconscious selves saving us before we get hit or even worse lose a life. This does relate back to mental health as maybe our bodies react this way unconsciously.

    It is a complex subject.

    Still a bigger lump

  • Mental health/illness cannot be cured

I have been thinking… Maybe it is when people with mental illness cannot be cured themselves but it is part of their personality.

Not everyone is bothered to complete a specific task. We can only encourage them to do a task. Maybe that is why there are support workers, to help them with what they are lacking.

When they don’t shower or clean themselves, we can only encourage them. When they are on medications it does make it worse because they have side effects.

Mostly all we can do is try to support them and slowly they will do their own self care. We also need to use our own input in a softer way as everyone is sensitive how we talk to them in a tone matter.

    Careful how we say things
  • Different environment, different emotions

When I go to different places, it is a vibe I get. Sometimes it is more relaxing and sometimes it is not. Maybe when we are in congested areas we feel it is more stressful, while the opposite is more relaxed and chill.

If we hang around a more stressful area, we tend to get more stressed or we somehow get this migraine in our head. While we see greens when we go to the environment our mind stays peaceful.

I think our human mind finds nature like trees or grass peaceful and relaxing for us. If we are in the city where there is a lack of trees our minds tend to race.

Even with how the environment is portrayed our emotions react to the environment around us.

I think we humans are naturally adaptive whether it goes positively or negatively.

The world that we live in that is natural is always best
  • Personality traits in mental health

I think in mental health, or if you are out into the mental health system the people that act the way they are that are not in societal standards we get labelled as having something wrong.

What if it is part of our personality? And how we are shaped by our environment. Sure the community needs to be safe but putting on people on medications does not help as a lot of people complain about them.

I think when we ask for help then being put on these medications, it just makes us worse as an individual creating a non-safer community in our society and not innovating ourselves. We should learn to think for ourselves before taking these artificial stimuli.

If professionals have taken these drugs we would listen to them but they are just learning from the books mostly without having actual experiences about them.

We all have personalities that define ourselves and it cannot be solved with chemicals.

But who knows? These drugs could be karma related drugs.

    We are Complex Beings
  • Adapting

What sacrifices have you made in life?

While I had an almost comfortable living, I tried to make myself uncomfortable by taking cold showers and learning as much as I can in my early 20s because your 20s are still young. Cold showers have health benefits. The main thing about cold showers is learning to be comfortable by being uncomfortable is what trains you as well.

There are about 40 more years to live freely at this stage, could increase as innovation makes place depending on how fast it takes place.

So that is why I am buying and collecting anything copper as it is a technology innovation tool. The better mental health we have the more technical advances we make. Right now in this day and age, we are relying on technology year by year.

I think what is best for mental health is using technology as a way to further your well being and also for convenience.

I think what sacrifices you make most of the time is how you learn and adapt to the situation because everyone is different.

Looking for ways to be outside of the box

  • Better mental health better the innovation

I think if we are both emotionally and physically healthy, we tend to think with more purpose with the way society is moving. So what I think is… Right now we are living in an age with the internet combined with no internet. But I would say we are moving with technology.

When we have better mental health our minds have more space to think of other ideas to improve their well being with the use of technology. In other words “making us feel better”.

Technology does have an effect on our mental health but when we are exposed to high dopamine sources we tend to feel depressed or we get anxious.

We should start to use technology as a tool to educate or give our knowledge in whatever platform we are on or using it to gather your research of your interest instead of mindless scrolling.

  • Supporting simple businesses

What’s the oldest things you’re wearing today?

For some reason I like to wear generic clothes that look like I have no personality, just random full colours of clothing.

I like to think, I am supporting small family run clothing businesses or I do shop at the flea markets for second hand clothes. It makes me feel good that I am supporting another person just trying to sell their used clothes.

I don’t shop a lot but I shop for things I actually need. Who knows… Maybe I will buy clothes from the flea markets and just donate my clothes to the clothing charity box.

I will wear them a couple of times then just probably just put it aside and donate it.

Clothing is a human need of our society as it keeps us warm and at least some fashion taste on the outside.

If the clothes ain’t broken, then it could be used again or resold.

    Generic clothing is my favourite
