  • Lifting each other up…

What quality do you value most in a friend?

What I admire most about people is the ability to put everyone up. What I mean is lifting people up whether emotionally or financially, but you would still have to do the work as well.

When you are young, the older folks will give you a piece of advice but when you guys are the same age giving each other information is helpful as well.

My own friends share about financial updates which keeps us updated about the markets without us doing as much research into the markets. But me? I help them emotionally in how to manage their emotions, somehow. I do this unconsciously for some reason.

But whether we are friends or strangers, we should all strive to give a hand to another.

  • Finding comfort in music

Everywhere I go even in my car, I listen to party hardcore music because it is what keeps me going during the day and on my purpose.

When you listen to a specific music somehow your body reacts to it emotionally and physically. When I say physically, you could make some adjustments to your appearance through the music you listen to everyday. Also, the items you buy could also be influenced by the music you listen to.

I will give an example of a music I listen to:

When I listen to the music, I feel more upbeat about life which could manifest into real life in your surroundings like everyone treating you with the respect you want.

It is also good for mental health as well as if you listen to slow tempo types, it could make you relaxed or either make you depressed depending on your mood.

So whenever I listen to music, music just changes my mood even though I sometimes feel lazy before a job or work.

  • Finding purpose in what I do

    What jobs have you had?

I have been working since I was in my 20s, from a full time job to odd jobs now. I find meaning in when I am getting compensated for my time while working towards a common goal. It does not need to be luxurious but something that has an impact on society.

If my work helps another individual to their goal, then I am satisfied but then I have to think about the cost of travel and some other utilities. Everyone has to look after themselves after all.

But then sometimes it may not be enough because we are wanting something more than just the specific work. If you tell the boss or employer you want to leave then, don’t feel guilty because you have already fulfilled your role in the position you were in. I try not to feel guilty but it is what it is.

No amount of money is enough to satisfy in whatever work you do, so you would have to make your own work, starting with a project then you will end up creating more jobs in the future thus making the community more abundant in work.

  • Leading the way…

I have found everyone can lead the way in one way or another. The older you get the more you can use your mind to influence people as you have more knowledge about the world.

If you do become an influence, I feel it is best to show your side of giving to another person so that all the other people will follow in your footsteps 👣.

However, I like to try and spread my knowledge to everyone and raise awareness about the community in solving the mental health crisis. Also our mental health is impacted mostly financially as some people are finding it hard to land a stable income for themselves.

I am committed to everyone having a commission based job while I take a little cut so everyone can stand on their two feet and to make work or service enjoyable for each parties.

The funds I get are also to support businesses that are sustainable to the development of society for making mental health a better place like donating money to a clean water charity, to an investment where everyone prospers financially, supports other sustainable recycling development businesses and working/supporting with small businesses while also getting my brand out there. This will be a long road but I think we will make it.

    We gonna make it
  • Losing yourself…

I try to not lose myself when I crave artificial stimuli like porn or eating a lot of junk food. Right now… I am slowly trying to consume as little as possible as it is not healthy towards my mental health. There have been studies shown as well but most are shown towards healthy and unhealthiness. I guess you would have to experience it to know.

When you are on antipsychotics or anti depressants, somehow they make you lose some parts of yourself you once have. Even usually your family members notice it as well.

When I looked up Reddit forms there have been some cases like this so I am glad I am not alone. There is one thing that they cannot take from us. It is our souls, our way of living, giving and contributing to society.

When you lose yourself, take it step by step and try to formulate a new you! So you can contribute, well into society and foster better community care.

  • Building a foundation

I tend to rush things usually which can affect my mental health because I am trying to force stuff which I haven’t done. The best thing I learnt was to take little actions at a time so I would not overthink things.

This could also make you tired and unmotivated to do things.

If you are struggling or need someone to talk to. There are always free services around, you just need to look deeper within. Since we have the internet, it is more accessible than ever before. But what you do is to try and avoid the hospital for mental issues or else it would make things worse. Because mental health is a new thing we are trying to combat, in the 1960 to 1980s mental health was not a big thing so it was harder to tell. Now everything is coming up and more and more people are talking or spreading awareness about mental health issues.

When you slowly build a foundation for yourself you limit your mental health problems. I am not saying it will prevent but minimise the problem.

But I guess it mostly comes from information overload at one time. Our minds have not adapted to the fast paced society we have now.

  • Less stress before the internet

Do you remember life before the internet?

I remember growing up in the 90s, where I had just television to watch, life was more simpler and less stressful without the abundance of information.

So when I got the internet in the 2000s, it was still simple as it was still in its infantry. When social media came about it just started getting worse.

The internet we use is that we can access it 24/7, so there would be information overload one way and another. Even worse there are scams and tricks that will make people even more stressed after we know that we have been scammed online.

I do think the internet have opened some new issues about mental health but also different types of jobs people can do. So there is a negative side and the positive side of the internet. It also allowed me for more convenience when researching new information about something without much effort.

I think there are both pros and cons about the internet but all we can do is make it healthier mentally online.

    A whole new world
  • Think like a warrior

What do warriors do? They serve people.

Even if you have mental health issues, you are a warrior, because you have or are trying to conquer the hardest of them all, “The Mind”. I think we are all at war with our minds because there is so much information out there on the internet and you can easily get overwhelmed.

About that! Warriors serve people like giving knowledge or sharing knowledge to enrich other people’s lives. Or… They could be doing service work like cleaning or restaurant duties… in a way everyone is a warrior in their own sense of mind.

What I like to do is make some type of money but sense of fulfillment at the same time. My line of project would like to be on the mental health side of things. So it is basically combining mental health and service business at the same time.

Strive to be your best to serve
  • When you have something to fight for…

When you have a purpose to do something it feels like you are not afraid of doing things that are out of the ordinary. It is similar to when you have anxiety, that anxiety stops you from doing something because you do not have a reason to fight for the cause. But when you have a reason to do something, that is to help out the society, you will not feel like an anxiety within you like social pressure. For example collecting bottles have a stigma attached to it, like homeless people collect them. But when you have a reason for yourself like collecting cans and bottles is helping the environment stay clean and also helps them from going into landfills to be used as recycling, you will not feel that pressure.

Maybe when you are first starting that is out of the ordinary… But when you find a reason within you… You will have an excuse for yourself.

This goes for other areas of life and the actions you take.

    For a reason!
  • Respecting your work

I think when you do things properly and it goes the way it is planned, it would feel a sense of accomplishment. Whether you are cleaning a dirty house then you tidy up the place and the place is more spotless. It may not go as planned but it is cleaner and you will probably do minor adjustments to the place.

When it looks like you want it to, the personality of the place would change and your mind would feel at home or at ease.

Even when you are cleaning someone else’s place, you are helping them free up their mental space because when there is too much clutter their mind races and they do not know what to do. That is when you come in to tidy up the place and when the place is clean, the other party “Thanks” you for completing their inaction to their place. Also this helps them with their mental health as their minds will not be running around in circles for their inaction. It is understandable that they feel not actionable to tidy up the place.

Respecting peoples place will create less drama therefore less stress to all parties involved.

I feel like the word “Respect” means listening to another person’s tasks or feelings.
